Cookie Policy
How Certivo uses cookies and similar technologies across its marketing site and application. This is a template for evaluation and must be reviewed by counsel before production use.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage and pixels — perform comparable functions. Certivo uses a small number of cookies that fall into two groups: strictly-necessary cookies required for the service to function, and optional cookies (preferences and analytics) that we set only where permitted.
2. Cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Strictly necessary? | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication, session integrity, CSRF protection, load balancing. | Yes | Session or up to 30 days |
| Preferences | Remember interface choices such as theme and saved filters. | No | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Aggregate, privacy-preserving usage measurement to improve the product. | No | Up to 12 months |
We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising, and we do not sell or share personal information collected through cookies.
3. How to control cookies
By default, only strictly-necessary cookies are set. Optional cookies are off until you opt in through our consent controls, and you can withdraw consent at any time. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; note that disabling strictly-necessary cookies may prevent parts of the application from working, such as staying signed in.
4. Changes & contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in applicable law. Material changes will be signposted on this page. Questions about cookies can be sent to privacy@certivo.uk. See also our Privacy Policy.
